3’0 Berkeley mattress on a folding bed featured in Burgess Stripe

The Berkeley mattress utilises a standard 5.5” deep, 288-count spring. Throughout it’s history it has been a popular mattress when used in conjunction with our padded top/solid top drawer divan although it is suitable for all of our divan types. It is available in one tension.

Filling Specification

Woollen Typar insulator which is hand stitched to the spring and upholstered using layers of wool.

Finishing Specification

The border is machine quilted. Four reinforced flag stitched handles are added to all sizes along with white plastic ventilators to allow the mattress to breathe. Finally the mattress is tufted with white felt washers attached by hand with cotton popins.
