Contract Foldaway
The contract foldaway bed is designed to easily fold away into an alcove, cupboard or behind curtains. The bed is constructed from a strong rectangular hollow steel frame, with mesh platform construction and is spring assisted from easy operation. . Ideal for the home, flats, bedsits, hotels or rooms where space is at a premium.
Due to its extremely strong construction this product is more suited to heavy contract use, but us as equally suitable for domestic use. Domestic users however may wish to consider the sprung slatted base design as an alternative.

When in the open position the hieght of the foldaway bed (excluding mattress) is 8" from the floor and the distance from the wall the the foot of the end of the bed is 79". Please note that we do not provide cupboards of curtains to surround the bed
Mattresses are sold separately. Each one hand crafted in our workshop.
Installation
The base comes pre–drilled so therefore simply needs screwing to the floor. Mattress retaining straps are included to secure a mattress to the frame.
Please note: due to the vast variations of floors, screws are not provided.
Safety
When the bed is in the upright position make sure that the foot end leg is rotated into the closed position and when in sleep mode the foot end leg must first be rotates into outward position and locked on each side using the thumb screws provided.
For safety reasons please not the springs do not counterbalance the weight of the bed and therefore care should be taken when opening and closing.
